Chris Hennemeyer has spent three decades living and working in the developing world. From his childhood in Tanzania to a Peace Corps stint in Ghana to 20 years carrying out relief and development work in far-flung places like Mauritania, Haiti, the Congo and many others, Chris has an informed understanding of what works and what doesn't. He has managed multi-million dollar development programs focusing on health, microfinance, and agricultural production, run refugee camps, supervised staffs of hundreds, and navigated wars and genocide. Since returning to the United States in 2002, Chris has held various executive positions with international NGOs, including in the fields of humanitarianism and democracy & governance, and now serves as an independent consultant . He also writes and comments frequently on African issues for major media outlets.
Christopher A. Lisy is a counsel in the Litigation Group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom. He advises companies that are asserting, or defending, claims of trade secret misappropriation and copyright infringement. He has litigated issues concerning proprietary computer source code and open source code (including HLASM, C++ and C#) and commercial software products in the storage, replication, database and planning and scheduling areas, among others. Mr. Lisy is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island, as well as numerous federal courts across the country.
Dr. Williams is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His subspecialty interest is Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Previously he served as medical director for a helicopter EMS program, as President of the Air Medical Physician Association, and as regional EMS medical director for Central Massachusetts. Currently, he is the state EMS Medical Consultant to the RI Department of Health EMS Division, director of the Brown EMS Fellowship and emergency medicine residency EMS curriculum. He established and serves as medical director for LifePACT, Rhode Island's only critical care ambulance transport program.
Kenneth Boley is Principal with The Interoperability Group, a law firm and consulting practice helping public safety organizations address the legal, policy and governance aspects of technology interoperability initiatives. Prior to starting The Interoperability Group, he worked for the District of Columbia Government's Office of the Chief Technology Officer, where he led the District's efforts to provide 700 MHz mobile broadband capabilities for public safety agencies, as well as the city's initiative to deploy a consolidated credential for District Government workers and customers, including a standardized, interoperable first responder credential. Ken has also worked at three Washington, DC telecommunications and technology law firms and served on several personal and committee staffs in the U.S. Senate.
Michelle Preus joined First Republic Bank in 2006 and currently has over 11 years of commercial and private banking experience. Prior to First Republic, Michelle worked at Silicon Valley Bank, Select Personnel, International Creative Management, and Modine Manufacturing. Michelle received her bachelor's degree of Business Management from the University of Rhode Island.
Dr. Crausman is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician with a distinguished career in clinical healthcare and public health. Dr. Crausman holds a MD and MMS from the Brown University School of Medicine. He specializes in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, geriatric medicine, critical care (intensivists) in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Brown University School of Medicine and is President of Trumed, Inc in Fall River, Massachusetts. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Crausman has previously served as the Director for the Center for Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases at the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) where he also oversaw the state Board of Licensure.
Dr. Cirillo is a board-certified Emergency Physician and works for Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP) with corporate offices in Canton, Ohio. EMP employs more than one thousand Emergency Physicians and Mid-Level Providers and cares for nearly 3 million emergency department patients every year. Dr. Cirillo practices clinically in Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, CT and the Pequot Emergency Department in Groton, CT. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Cirillo serves as the EMP Director of Health Policy & Legislative Advocacy for EMP. Dr. Cirillo also serves as the Medical Director for the Pequot Emergency Department and is a member of the national Board of Directors for EMP. Dr. Cirillo has previously served as the founding Chief of the Center for Emergency Preparedness & Response (CEPR) at the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) where he oversaw all preparedness program activities of the State Health Department in coordination with healthcare entities within the state.
